I'm New...what do I need to know?

Eastside is a simple church made up of simple people. That is to say, we are not seeking to impress anyone. We think our Jesus is impressive enough without us getting in the way. With that in mind, here's a few things to know:

What to wear?   We have a little bit of everything. A few men wear suits, others wear blue jeans. Some of the ladies wear dresses, others wear pants. We don't want to tell you what you wear, but ask that you consider who you're wearing it for--Jesus.

Where do I go when I get there?   The best place to park your first time is in front of the sanctuary. This is our central location for everything. If coming for Sunday School, babies, children, and youth will be behind the sanctuary in the Nursery Building (we have repurposed the building but have yet to change the sign).

There is always someone in the sanctuary who will gladly help all your family find where to go.

We have one ladies class that meets in the sanctuary, and one mens class that meets in the "old choir building".

Sunday nights are in the sanctuary.

**Please be aware that we have another church meeting in our Chapel while they rebuild after a fire burned down their facilities. You are welcome in either place, but we are two different churches, not just two different services.**

Is there anything for my kids to do during the service?   On Sunday mornings, for children 4 and under, we have the nursery available. Please make sure to talk to their teacher when you take them for Sunday School. If you do not come for Sunday School, come to the sanctuary foyer and someone will help direct you where to go.

For children who stay in the service, we have coloring sheets and small fidget toys available.

On Sunday nights, we do not have any activities for children or babies.

On Wednesdays, we have activities for kids ages 5-12. We do not typically have babies on Wednesdays, but if help is needed we can make accommodations.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.
